We are teaming up with Chapel City Church in Camarillo and partnering with the EFCA to respond to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
EFCA ReachGlobal Crisis Response is uniquely positioned to bring the hope of Jesus following catastrophe by working through local churches to help families in those communities. It isn't just physical service, but holistic and ongoing care for all people affected.
The full extent of the storm's impact on families and communities across Texas is still unknown. The initial assessments show almost every EFCA church in the Houston region (15 total) has families flooded out of homes, and extensive damage in the communities in which they serve.
We are asking everyone to consider helping in one or more of the following ways:
Pray - Give - Serve
• For peace and provision for the many families experiencing flooding.
• For local EFCA recovery teams and efforts to help the hurting and lost.
• For effective service and outreach opportunities to the city's many immigrants and refugees, as Houston is the most racially and ethnically diverse city of the 10 largest U.S. metropolitan areas.
• For the Church across the country to mobilize people and resources for a sustained, long term response.
Given the extent of the damage in Houston, and the surrounding area, the EFCA's goal is to raise over $1 million for response efforts.
As a Church we have a goal of raising over $5,000 in addition to sending a team to serve.

100% of all money will go to EFCA's ReachGlobal.
We are forming a team to help with the recovery and relief efforts from Hurricane Harvey. Details will be fluid as we are helping with a desire to go wherever is most needed and we are best equipped to handle.
